Jen Lovell had felt pulled toward Egypt for years. So, when a seemingly random text exchange with Nichole led to learning about the upcoming pilgrimage, something clicked.
She researched it, prayed about it, meditated on it, and despite some very real questions about traveling to that part of the world, the answer kept coming back yes.
In this next installment of the Egypt series, Jen, host of Halfway to Dead, joins Nichole to revisit the experiences that stayed with her most.
Her intuition quickly became what Jen describes as “on fire.” Inside the Great Pyramid, she experienced what felt like ancient information coming through her crown, along with another encounter that challenged her to trust what she was sensing energetically.
But some of what affected Jen most happened outside the sacred sites themselves.
A group of women from different places and backgrounds quickly became incredibly close. Bus rides turned into conversations, readings, laughter, personal stories, and time to process everything they were experiencing. What could have been the least memorable part of the trip became one of Jen’s favorites.
And the journey didn’t end when she returned home. Jen and Nichole also talk about the integration that followed, what some of these experiences may have been preparing her for, and why she is still unpacking parts of Egypt months later.
